Ms. Pearson received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Occidental College in 1987. Following her graduation, she was employed as a human resources specialist for a large regional social services agency where she became familiar with wage and hour and FEHA regulations. Ms. Pearson attended Southwestern University School of Law, where she participated in the Trial Advocacy Program, was an extern with the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, and was a judicial extern for the Honorable Earl Johnson, Jr., at the United States District Court for the Central District of California. She received her Juris Doctor in 1992.

Ms. Pearson's practice focuses on business litigation. She is admitted to practice in California and the Central and Northern Districts of U.S. District Courts of California. Ms. Pearson is a member of the Litigation section of the California State Bar.
